Comedy fans are in for a treat this spring, as The Brewhouse welcomes a number of the UK’s best known comedians and big names of the future.
Councillor Bernard Peters, Deputy Leader for Community and Regulatory Services, said: “An extensive list of events continues to be delivered at The Brewhouse for residents, and visitors, to come along and enjoy. Please be assured even as we move to Plan A measures continue to be in place for your safety and any exposure to the Covid virus.”
The packed line up of comedians commences, at The Brewhouse, from Saturday 29th January, with the already sold out visit of award winning comedian and Taskmaster survivor Mark Watson.
Finalist of Britain’s Got Talent and star of BBC Radio 4’s Citizen of Nowhere, Daliso Chaponda, brings his UK tour Apocalypse Not Now to The Brewhouse on Saturday 12th February, before star of Live at the Apollo, Gary Delaney visits Burton Town Hall with his new show Gary in Punderland on Saturday 19th February.
From March, The Brewhouse, will see the start of an all new Burton upon Trent comedy club. Hosted on the first Friday of every month, by one of the UK's leading comedy clubs, Just The Tonic, fans can expect a mixed bill event, featuring some of the UK’s best comedians.
