Have your say on council spending in Budget Consultation

People who live, work and volunteer in East Staffordshire are being asked for their views on council spending and how it should be prioritised.

The Budget Consultation is now live and invites people to share their opinions and make clear their choices on where – and how – money should be spent.

Whether you think we need to spend money on town centre regeneration, events, keeping our parks and open spaces clean and tidy, on tackling anti-social behaviour or homelessness, this is your chance to get involved and help shape future spending across the borough.

The aim of the Budget Consultation is to ensure the views of East Staffordshire residents, businesses and community groups are taken into account when spending priorities are determined.

Councillor Duncan Goodfellow, Leader of the Council, said: “By getting involved in the budget consultation people have the opportunity to ensure their views can be considered as part of the Council’s budget setting process. “It is important that as many people as possible let us know what council services matter to them most so this is your opportunity to have your say on how these important decisions are made.”

The Budget Consultation survey is now available to complete online.
