Brewhouse to offer online creative workshops

The Brewhouse Arts Centre is offering adults the opportunity to rediscover their creativity in a fun and collaborative way this spring.  There will be a range of new online live workshops.

The workshops will include:

Dance

Join Brewhouse Dance tutor, Catherine for some informal dance sessions.  Enjoy, have lots of fun and importantly take that much needed time for yourself.  It’s a perfect way to get active and to shake off that winter lockdown.

Dates and Time: Thursdays 1st, 8th, and 15th April - 5:30-6:30pm

Drawing

Why not have a go at developing your technique or pick up that pencil and start drawing for the first time.  During the sessions, you will learn how to sketch and shade which will include line drawing, stippling, cross hatching and circles.  This will help you to add tone and interest to your pictures.

Dates and Time: Wednesdays 14th, 21st and 28th April - 7.30 – 8.30pm

Collage Journal

These sessions will give you the chance to reconnect with your surrounding space whilst exploring mixed media, colour and 3D pieces to explore your interests and emotions.

Wednesdays 5th, 12th and 19th May - 7.30 – 8.30pm

Councillor Bernard Peters, Deputy Leader for Community and Regulatory Services, said: “The Brewhouse are putting on some excellent free online workshops which are suitable for all age groups.  They will not only be fun but will provide with that much needed motivation during these unprecedented times.”

Sessions are suitable for all ages and abilities.  They are free to attend and can be booked via the Brewhouse website: www.brewhouse.co.uk.
