East Staffordshire Borough Council has joined forces with East Staffordshire Social Prescribers to deliver therapeutic gardening sessions to the local community.

The Social Prescribing Gardening sessions, Feel Good Fridays, are informal gardening sessions held at the Greenhouse Gardening Centre in Burton upon Trent, which give local residents the opportunity, whilst supported by a Social Prescriber, to get involved in gardening and have time to focus on ‘what matters to me’ taking a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

The informal sessions are perfect for people who are looking to find alternative ways to improve their health and wellbeing, whilst connecting with others.
