Coronavirus: Parks and Open Spaces

All Council playgrounds, outdoor gyms and tennis courts will be closed. Our open spaces contractor will be performing limited maintenance in our parks and open spaces. Our parks and open spaces will remain open.

FOREST (Friends Of Renewing East Staffordshire’s Trees) is a brand new project, with the aim of planting a large number of new trees on open spaces across the borough of East Staffordshire, over the coming years, in order to help improve the local environment.

We're looking for volunteers to who are willing to give up a few hours, two or three times throughout the year to assist with tree planting. As well as occasionally visiting the trees throughout the year to monitor their progress and to ensure that they are healthy and have not been vandalised or damaged.
