East Staffordshire Borough Council is pleased to announce that The Birmingham 2022 Queen’s Baton Relay visited the Borough on Wednesday 20th July.

The Brewhouse Arts Centre has just launched its annual Open Exhibition, which this year features the work of talented local artists, in celebration of Burton upon Trent’s achievement in reaching the RHS Britain in Bloom finals. 

One of the most iconic venues of the Edinburgh Festival is due to head back to Burton upon Trent this autumn with an exciting programme of live theatre.

East Staffordshire Borough Council are pleased to announce that the jobs fair held at Burton Town Hall on Thursday 30th June was a great success. The event saw 48 employers advertise a variety of job opportunities to over 500 local jobseekers.

With only two weeks left until The Birmingham 2022 Queen’s Baton Relay makes its way through the borough, East Staffordshire Borough Council are encouraging people to join us in cheering on the Batonbearers.

As the town continues to wait for Government approval on the Towns Fund submission made in March of this year, approval has been received for the Project Adjustment Request (PAR) that was submitted alongside the Towns Fund bid.

Local groups and organisations across East Staffordshire are being encouraged to take advantage of the Community Regeneration Fund, a new 12 month long scheme to support the ongoing regeneration of the Borough.
