Direct Debits

The Council is aware of an issue where Council Tax and Business Rates Direct Debit payments due to be paid automatically by BACS today (1st September 2021) have not been taken from payers’ accounts. The Council is liaising with BACS to see why payments have not been taken on the due date.

BACS has confirmed that payments will now be taken from bank accounts on 3 September 2021. Anyone experiencing difficulties with their payments should contact the Council’s Revenues Team on 01283 508030.
