Cabinet Question and Answer

The Council’s Cabinet Members are committed to improving communication and engagement, and are happy to take questions from our Citizens. A Citizen is someone who lives, works or studies in the Borough of East Staffordshire.

If you have a question you would like to raise with a Cabinet member you can submit a question using this straightforward form. Once a relevant question has been submitted, the appropriate Cabinet member will be in touch with an answer within 10 working days.

The facility is subject to reasonable use, and there may be some circumstances where the Cabinet Member will not be able to respond to submitted questions. This includes where: questions are from someone who is an active politician or is not a Citizen; questions are defamatory, frivolous or offensive; responding might create a conflict of interest or conflicts with other Council policies or procedures.

If your question is regarding a local issue then you can also contact your local ward Councillor

Staffordshire County Council is responsible for highways, pavements, libraries, education, social care and health. Any question on these topics should be directed to Staffordshire County Council.

Each Cabinet member has responsibilities for different functions within the Council. Before submitting a form, please check which Cabinet member is responsible for the issue you would like to raise. A full list of each Cabinet member's responsibilities is set out on this page.
