Find out if a property is listed

Important Information

The pre-application and enquiry service has been TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED due to the high volume of applications we are receiving.

Pre-applications for major and strategic developments will continue to be accepted.

If you are seeking advice on whether planning permission would be required, please visit the planning guides and case studies page.

Alternatively you can submit a certificate of lawfulness application.

You can find out whether your property is a listed building by using our online mapping tool. Once you have found the correct area on the map you will need to switch on the ‘listed building’ planning layer.

Alternatively you can access the Heritage Gateway website or search the National List for England database

Alternatively you can e-mail dcsupport@eaststaffsbc.gov.uk or you can call us on (01283) 508606 and we will advise you.
