Currently, there are electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints located in two of our car parks across East Staffordshire:

• Coopers Square, Burton: One rapid 50kW charger and two fast 22kW dual charge points, capable of charging two vehicles simultaneously.
• Trinity Square, Uttoxeter: One rapid 50kW charger.

We have plans to expand the charger network in council car parks and are actively exploring additional options.

You can search for more EV chargepoint locations (including those not installed by the Council) on a range of websites including Zapmap and PlugShare.

The chargepoints in our car parks are currently operated by bp pulse. 

You can pay to charge with contactless bank cards or mobile payment apps without needing an account, or via the bp pulse app (subscription or pay-as-you-go), or a bp pulse charge card (RFID) card.

The usual parking tariffs still apply and must be paid separately at the parking payment stations or via the parking app. 

Please use normal bays if not charging.

Please move your vehicle after charging to allow others to use the charger.
