Council Launches Car Parking Consultation

East Staffordshire Borough Council has launched a public consultation with aim of understanding how residents and visitors to the Borough use the Council’s car parks, running from Friday 1st March 2024 for 8 weeks.

The consultation looks to determine car park users’ preferred payment method and how often they use Council car parks, along with a number of other factors that will contribute to the Council’s understanding of how its car parks are used.

The Council’s Civil Enforcement Team will also be seeking responses from residents directly by a presence in Council car parks throughout the consultation period.

Cllr Dennis Fletcher, Cabinet Member for Environment and Climate Change, said: “It is important that we continue to review and evaluate the way in which residents and visitors to the Borough use our car parks, so that we can adjust car parking facilities appropriately going forward.”

Further information on this public consultation can be found on the Council’s website.
