Volunteers across East Staffordshire are putting the finishing touches to the four local entries into the 2019 Heart of England in Bloom Awards. The entries include, Burton in the Small City category, Uttoxeter in the Town category and Winshill (through to the national award final) and Branston, both in the Urban Community category.
Local entries, maintained by volunteers, with support from East Staffordshire Borough Council, will be looking to make it 12 consecutive gold awards, when the judges visit the area between the 1st July and 11th July, with Winshill also being judged on the 7th August for their appearance in the national finals, following a category win in the 2018 awards.
