East Staffordshire Borough Council has announced the Christmas opening hours for its facilities.
The main council offices will close on Tuesday 24th December at 4:00pm and will open again at 9:00am on Thursday 2nd January 2025.
Burton Market Hall will be open from 9:00am – 4:00pm between Monday 23rd and Tuesday 31st December, with the following exceptions:
- Wednesday 25th December – CLOSED
- Thursday 26th December – CLOSED
- Sunday 29th December – CLOSED
- Wednesday 1st January - CLOSED
The Market Hall will open again and return to normal hours on Thursday 2nd January 2025.
The Civic Function Suite at Burton Town Hall is closed from Monday 23rd December and will open at 9:00am on Thursday 2nd January 2025.
The Brewhouse Arts Centre will close after Tuesday 24th December and will reopen on Thursday 2nd January.
Meadowside and Uttoxeter Leisure centres, and Shobnall Leisure Complex have also announced their opening times over the Christmas period.
Meadowside Leisure Centre
Meadowside leisure Centre will close at 12:00pm on Tuesday 24th December for two days and will be open between Friday 27th and Tuesday 31st December, operating at reduced hours.
- Friday 27th December – 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday 28th December – 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Sunday 29th December – 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Monday 30th December – 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Tuesday 31st December – 8:00am – 12:00pm
The centre will be resuming normal operating hours on Thursday 2nd January.
Uttoxeter Leisure Centre
Uttoxeter leisure Centre will close at 12:00pm on Tuesday 24th December for two days and will be open between Friday 27th and Tuesday 31st December, operating at reduced hours.
- Friday 27th December – 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday 28th December – 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Sunday 29th December – 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Monday 30th December – 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Tuesday 31st December – 8:00am – 12:00pm
The centre will be resuming normal operating hours on Thursday 2nd January
Shobnall Leisure Complex
Shobnall Leisure Complex will close at 12:00pm on Tuesday 24th December for three days but will be open between Saturday 28th and Monday 30th December from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
The leisure complex will be closed on both Tuesday 31st December and Wednesday 1st January, before resuming normal operating hours on Thursday 2nd January.
