Residents and visitors to Burton upon Trent are in for a festive treat this Christmas as East Staffordshire Borough Council announces a host of festive activities and events, supported by Everyone Active, Pyrotex Fireworx & Scorpion Events Solutions.
The programme kicks off on Sunday 24th of November with the return of the annual Christmas lights switch on in Burton Market Place. The celebrations will start from 2pm with a host of family entertainment on the main stage a funfair and a great mix of food and drink stalls. Visitors can then enjoy the lights switch on and fireworks at 5pm.

Shoppers and foodies alike will find something waiting for them in Burton Market Hall and Place this season, with a Christmas Funday delivered by Best of Burton on Sunday 8th December, followed by a Christmas Market on Saturday 14th December.
The Brewhouse Arts Centre will also host a wide range of festive performances, including The majestic sounds of the Winter Union Concert, whose’ soaring harmonies and exquisite musicianship will get you in the Christmas spirit. Families can also share a magical journey as “The Night Before, The Night Before Christmas” a spellbinding tale told using storytelling, puppets, shadow play and pop ups, hits the stage from the 16th to 23rd December.

From food markets to festive shows, residents and visitors to the Borough can expect a great line up of events this Christmas in Burton.”
