A CCF grant was awarded to PCC Barton under Needwood to contribute towards new glass doors in the inner porch at St James' Church.

The present wooden doors are uninviting. The glass doors will enable the community using the network of footpaths through the churchyard passing the West door to see inside the Church. The aim is to encourage the community and visitors to look around the Church which is open everyday.
