How the Council spends your Council Tax

The Council’s total budgeted expenditure for 2012/2013 amounts to £61m compared to £61m for 2011/12. This is divided amongst the main services of the Council as follows:
  • Housing Services £30.4m (2011/12 £28.68m)
  • Trading Services £0.6m (2011/12 £0.6m)
  • Central Services £11.1m (2011/12 £12.1m)
  • Cultural, Environmental & Planning Services £17.3m (2011/12 £17.5m)
  • Highways, Roads & Transportation £1.5m (2011/12 £1.4m)
