East Staffordshire Borough Council has triumphed again this year at the Heart of England In Bloom annual awards ceremony, with a huge haul of medals being won in all categories.

As part of an ongoing ‘Tackle The Tippers’ campaign and a commitment to address fly tipping and anti-social behaviour, teams from across the Council, together with other Partnership agencies, worked together on the 27th September 2023 to show a high profile presence in the Shobnall Ward Area.

East Staffordshire Borough Council has today confirmed that Burton’s Christmas Lights Switch On will return to the Market Place on Sunday 26th November 2023. The fun will get underway at 1pm with Rangemore School Choir and conclude at 5.30pm with fireworks.

The sum involved was £398,447 and was returned because the spending deadline had expired on 27th March 2023.
