Winshill residents and businesses asked for their opinions on a new planning document

East Staffordshire Borough Council is asking residents, community groups and businesses in Winshill for their thoughts on the draft Winshill Neighbourhood Plan.

Winshill submitted their plan to the Council in May and it is now out for ‘publicity’ consultation for six weeks before it is independently examined.

Comments can be made on the plan between Friday 16th June and Friday 28th July.

Councillor Jacqui Jones, Deputy Leader for Planning, said: “The Neighbourhood Plan, one of 17 being written in East Staffordshire, is the culmination of lots of hard work and consultation undertaken by the Neighbourhood Plan steering group. 

“The plan will help shape Winshill in the years to come and this consultation gives all Winshall residents, businesses and community groups the opportunity to share their thoughts with the Council and help shape the future of their area.”
