East Staffordshire Borough Council are offering families a wide range of activities this May Half Term, including workshops and live shows for young people of all ages.
Saturday 27th May - Comedy Club 4 Kids
The Brewhouse 2pm
Like the name says it’s a Comedy Club 4 Kids!
Cracking entertainment for everyone over six years old and under 400 years old (no vampires). Featuring the best comedians from the UK and world circuit doing what they do best… but without the rude bits!
Wednesday 31st May to Friday 2nd June - Youth Movement Dance Workshop
The Brewhouse 10.30am
Ascension Dance and The Brewhouse Arts Centre have teamed up to create a new Youth Dance group ‘Youth Movement’, working together to bring dance and movement to as many young people across East Staffordshire as we can!
Youth Movement dance tutors teach fun and supportive workshops inspired by parkour, freerunning, and breakdance and are keen to inspire young people to participate in dance, movement and experience performance.
Clay for Kids is an affordable, ‘drop in’ activity the whole family can enjoy with help from expert crafter Tania from Yvie's Imaginarium. Get creative making a wide range of designs which you can then take away.
Put on your spacesuit, check co-ordinates and fire up your engines... it’s time to go on a Journey to the Stars! Join us on a journey through the universe across the solar system, past twinkling stars, towards distant galaxies...to the edge of space and time itself! Using only silly puppets, ridiculous and unnecessary props, ludicrous wigs and assorted fruits and vegetables, Squashbox Theatre will reveal the secrets of the universe!
