Get Blood Pressure Testing and Advice This September

Staff from Meadowside and Uttoxeter Leisure Centres will be helping local residents prevent stroke and heart disease by providing free blood pressure testing later this month. High blood pressure is known as the “silent Killer” as it has no symptoms and the only way to know if you are at risk is to have your blood pressure tested.

The Leisure Centres have teamed up with Coopers’ Square to reach local people and help them understand the importance of ‘Knowing Your Numbers’.

Staff from Meadowside Leisure Centre will be in Coopers’ Square on Tuesday 19th September between 10:00am and 12:00noon to carry out blood pressure tests and to give advice on how to improve the readings.

The same service will be available at Uttoxeter Leisure Centre on Monday 18th and Wednesday 20th September between 12:00noon and 3:00pm.
