Family Open Day taking place at Go Garden Uttoxeter

Go Garden, the gardening space to the rear of Uttoxeter Leisure Centre is holding a free open day on Saturday 22nd April between 10am - 1pm.

The open day is a great opportunity for families to come along and learn all about planting their own vegetables and flowers, as well as to take part in activities, crafts and games.

Go Garden, which was opened in May 2016, is made up of two polytunnels and has a dedicated space for flower beds, raised beds and general growing space. The area is used as an educational space for schools, community groups and anyone who’d like to get involved, in order for them to learn more about gardening.

The open day will include plant giveaways, pottery painting, sports activity sessions, outdoor games, arts & crafts and professional gardening demonstrations by Strawberry Garden Centre.

Whether you’re new to gardening or a seasoned professional, come along and get involved.
