Equality Survey

East Staffordshire Borough Council is committed to creating a fairer East Staffordshire for everyone. The Equality Act 2010 requires the Council to create and publish equality objectives that will contribute towards eliminating any type of discrimination, harassment and victimisation, advancing equality of opportunity and fostering good relations between different people.

The Equality Act 2010 covers the following protected characteristics: age, ethnicity, disability, gender, gender reassignment, religion or belief, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, and marriage and civil partnership.
