 Semi-Rural Neighbourhood Forum

What is a Neighbourhood Forum?

Neighbourhood Forums give you the chance to speak about what’s happening in your area and get your voice heard. The Forum provides you with an opportunity to resolve problems affecting your local neighbourhood. Partners may also be invited along to the Forums to give information on local services. The main priority of the Neighbourhood Forums is to monitor the Neighbourhood Action Plan and ensure its delivery. The meetings will be chaired by an independent resident that shall be elected by Forum members.

When and where do they take place?

Neighbourhood Forums will run on a quarterly schedule. Dates and venues can be found on the diary of events.

Neighbourhood Forum Terms of Reference

Forums are just one of the many ways that you can become involved in your local community. If you would like more information or are interested in joining a Forum then please contact your Neighbourhood Co-ordinator for your area.

You can still contact your Borough Councillor, Parish Council or attend a PACT (Partners and Communities Together) meeting at any time to discuss your area. Information on these meetings can also be found through the diary of events or by contacting your Neighbourhood Co-ordinator.

 Semi Rural Neighbourhood Action Plan

This is the Neighbourhood Action Plan for your area.

It has been compiled in consultation with local communities, Parish Councils, Borough Councillors and County Councillors and the many service providers within East Staffordshire.

The plans show actions with target dates of ST (Short Term), MT (Medium Term)or L T (Long Term)

Short Term relates to actions to be completed by the end of March 2010

Medium Term relates to actions to be completed by the end of March 2011

Long Term relates to actions to be completed by the end of March 2012

Actions may alter as updates are received or further information is forthcoming on a particular theme or point.
