Building Control re-branded as Building Consultancy
Over recent years the Building Control Division has been providing pre-application advice, access auditing and training services together with fire engineering advice and general technical guidance to both internal and external clients.
All of the above services are offered as a non-profit consultancy service based upon cost recovery only. The change of name now more accurately reflects the role that the team plays in the development process.
Over time it is expected that the Building Consultancy will be able to offer further services to the benefit of clients and applicants.
