Recycle on the go

Residents in East Staffordshire can now recycle on the go whilst they are out and about in Burton upon Trent and Uttoxeter. Recycling at home is part of everyday life for residents in East Staffordshire and now it can become part of daily life for residents and visitors to the area whilst out and about in the borough.

Residents and visitors can now recycle plastics, glass, cans and waxed cartons at a number of locations. The new dual recycling and litter bins have recently been installed at High Street, Uttoxeter, Stapenhill Gardens, Burton College frontage and in the pedestrianised area of Station Street, Burton upon Trent.

It is hoped that these dual recycling and litter bins will encourage people to think twice about what to do with their rubbish when out and about in the borough, and to help us to increase the amount of waste which is recycled and to reduce landfill costs.
