East Staffordshire Borough Councils Waste Team at the request of residents carry out a bulky waste collection service for large items of furniture such as sofas and wardrobes. Please note that a three piece suite will be classed as three items.
From January 2006 for the collection of bulky waste the charge will be £10.00 for 3 items. If you have more than 3 items to dispose of then there will be an additional charge of £3.00 per item. However we can only collect a maximum of 10 items.
By request we can also collect fridges and freezers from domestic residents. The cost for this service is £15.00 per unit.

Remember - all household waste can be disposed of by residents free of charge at the local Household Waste Recycling Centres in Burton upon Trent and Uttoxeter.
