Clubmark is an accreditation scheme for high quality junior sports clubs. It is managed by Knight, Kavanagh & Page on behalf of Sport England and sets the standard for all high quality sports clubs in England.
Clubmark provides quality recognition for Sport Clubs. All sports clubs should strive to achieve this quality standard. Clubmark is an important club development tool and provides a solid foundation for all clubs wishing to establish a youth structure.
Sports Clubs can apply for Clubmark through the Sports Governing Body.
Sport Clubs working towards Clubmark will need to complete a portfolio of evidence which outline the minimum operating standards, this includes:
- Child Protection policy
- Coaching Plan
- Public Liability Insurance
- Coaching Qualifications
Clubs awarded Clubmark can be proud of what they have achieved. They are showing commitment to developing Junior Sport within their Club, and show that members will be safe at the Club. Clubmark clubs attract more members as it show clubs are striving to reach a high standard in all areas of the Club.
