Welcome to East Staffordshire - Local Strategic Partnership
The East Staffordshire Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) brings together organisations from the public, private, community and voluntary sector within the East Staffordshire area, with the objective of improving local people's quality of life.
LSP consists of an Executive Board and smaller Public Services LSP. The Public Services LSP includes public sector organisations and seeks to find better and more collaborative working across service providers: Their responsibilities are to:
- Produce the East Staffordshire Community Strategy and oversee it's implementation
- Oversee the activities of other partnerships in the borough such as the local Children's Trust Board and the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership
- Encourage smarter use of public funding
- Scrutinise other public bodies
- Be the local delivery board ('district board') for the Local Area Agreement, undertaking appropriate performance and financial management
Members meet on a four monthly basis and represent organisations that supply key services to the community. Membership includes:
