- Tax Aid - offers independent and practical advice on tax and tax credits for people on modest and low incomes
- Royal United Kingdom Beneficent Association A national charity, RUKBA helps older people to enjoy many more fulfilling years in their own homes by providing financial support. In many cases they step in with small grants or annuities to help older people stretch their pensions.

- National benevolent fund for the elderly The NBFA was founded in 1957 to assist the aged of both sexes normally resident in the UK. They provide direct practical help to low-income older people in the UK by tackling isolation, loneliness, pain and fear.
