 Licensing: Overview
Who are we?

The Licensing Team consists of the following members:

  • Amanda Goodwill - Team Leader Pollution, Licensing and Enforcement
  • Lisa Kinsey - Senior Licensing Officer
  • Kathryn Critchley - Licensing Officer
  • Kelly Hyde - Licensing Officer
  • Margaret Baxter - Licensing Officer

What do we do?

We process and issue licences, permits and registrations for the following licence types:

  • Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Drivers
  • Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Vehicles
  • Private Hire Operators
  • Licensing Act 2003 - Personal & Premises Licences, Clubs Premises Certificates  and Temporary Event Notices
  • Gambling Act 2005 - Bingo Premises, Betting Premises, Adult Gaming Centres, Tracks, Gaming Machines
  • Street Trading Consents
  • Street Collections
  • House to House Collections
  • Scrap Metal Dealers
  • Sex Establishments
  • Motor Salvage Operators
