Our air conditioned Fitness Suite boasts state-of the- art equipment, featuring a fantastic ‘cardio theatre’ – where your work out can be done to your favourite television programme or music channel!
All our staff are extremely helpful and Fitness Advisors are always on hand to offer advice and assistance on your fitness aims and goals.
The Fitness Suite boasts:
7 Recumbent bikes & 9 Upright bikes, 12 Treadmills, 5 Rowers, 5 Steppers, 2 Arm bikes, 10 Cross-Trainers, 17 Resistance machines, 4 Free weight benches, 1 Preacher curl, 2 Abs Cradles, Medicine Balls and Swiss Balls.
Attached to the Fitness Suite is fully air conditioned 12m² dedicated fitness studio which also accommodates 20 spins bikes. Classes included Aerobics, Spin, Abs Blast, Circuits, Pilates, Combat, Pump, Bums Tums & Thighs and Yogacise.
Power Plate Technology at Washlands Fitness Centre
Power Plates training stimulate the body’s natural response to vibration. These vibrations transmit waves of energy throughout the body, activating muscle contractions between 25 and 50 times per second, enhancing overall performance in sessions as short as 15 minutes a day, 3 times a week.
Training on Power Plate equipment offers a host of benefits, ranging from an immediate improvement in blood circulation, increased muscle strength and flexibility, improved range of motion, decreased cellulite, increased bone mineral density, reduced pain and soreness and faster recovery.
