Sports Hall

The sports hall is open Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 10:00pm and Saturday and Sunday between 9:00am and 6:00pm

The sports hall measures 32m x 26m and has Granwood flooring.

Casual bookings for football, badminton, basketball, volleyball, short tennis, netball and cricket can be made up to one week in advance. Bookings are for 50 minutes duration with the option of half hour bookings between midday and 2:00pm. Bookings are taken from 7:15am each day by telephoning 01283 508865.

The sports hall houses six badminton courts, two 5-a-side courts, two basketball courts (including two junior basketball rings), two volleyball court, two netball courts, one cricket net and six short tennis courts.

Off peak rates apply Monday – Thursday between 9:00am and 4:00pm and all day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Peak rates apply Monday – Thursday between 4:00pm – 10:00pm.

We hire badminton rackets, shuttle cocks, footballs, basketballs, volleyballs and short tennis rackets and balls are available for hire.

The hall is available for hire by clubs, groups and organisations during certain periods. Meadowside sports hall is capable for hosting major tournaments, performances and exhibitions. It has a seating capacity of up to 800 depending on the nature of the event.
