East Staffordshire Borough Council has recently reviewed its policies relating to the licensing and regulation of Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Drivers, Vehicles and Operators.

The policies and procedures relating to the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire trade have been incorporated into a new Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy and Procedure Manual.

A copy of the manual will be delivered to all Private Hire Operator Bases, and will be available to view at the Town Hall reception, Licensing reception and the Customer Service Centre’s in both Burton and Uttoxeter.
