The need for affordable housing in certain rural parishes has been assessed for the Council by Midlands Rural Housing who have carried out local housing needs surveys. The Council has asked Midlands Rural Housing to look for suitable locations for the numbers of homes that are justified, meaning existing properties (including empty properties) which could be bought as affordable housing, or sites on which affordable homes could potentially be built under Local Plan Policy H13.
