Energy Monitors measure your household energy consumption in real time in either pounds or wattage and setting it up is very easy. The monitors have an electricity detecting device which is clipped onto either of the 2 cables running from your electricity meter to your fuse box. You then place the receiver unit in your house, instantly observing how much wattage you are using, along with the cost in pounds.
We at ESBC have been loaning two of these energy monitors to staff in order to encourage energy saving.
