Exemplar Property

East Staffordshire Borough Council in cooperation with Trent and Dove housing association are creating an exemplar property in Anglesey, Burton.

This home will be an exhibition of Energy Efficiency and Fire Safety. The property will be full of interactive information and suggestions of ideas that you could install within your own property to save you money and keep you safe.

We are looking for

• Volunteer staff to man the house and become trained in offering energy efficiency and fire safety advice.
• community groups that would like to use the home - for it's free of charge meeting room facilities.
• suggestions and comments.

Energy Saving Trust 'Green Communities' Courses

Following on from the success of the previous Energy Saving Trust course on community buildings, we hope to run future courses on energy awareness. Watch this space for future information.

Although we currently have no courses planned for the near future, your community can sign up to be a green community through the Energy Saving Trust. This programme aims to support, facilitate and promote community based energy projects.
