If you wish to make a claim for Housing/Council Tax Benefit then please

• Ring the Benefits Section on 01283 508422 between 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday to arrange an appointment for your Housing/Council Tax application to be completed over the phone or
• Call in to see a Customer Service Officer at the Customer Services Centre, Market Place, Burton upon Trent opening times Monday-Saturday 9.00am-5.00pm with a 6.00pm closure on Thursday or at Uttoxeter Library opening times Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm and Saturday 9.00am-4.00pm

Your application for Housing/Council Tax Benefit will be completed electronically and you will be advised what documents you need to supply for your claim to be processed. An appointment will be made for you to attend the relevant Customer Service Centre to provide these documents.

Sometimes we may need more information to process your claim that has not been requested by the Customer Service Officer, if so the Housing Benefit Department will write to you.
