Disabled Parking

The Blue Badge Scheme provides a national arrangement of parking concessions for people with severe walking difficulties who travel either as drivers or passengers. The Scheme also applies to registered blind people, and people with very severe upper limb disabilities who regularly drive a vehicle but cannot turn a steering wheel by hand. It allows badge holders to park close to their destination, but the national concessions apply only to on-street.

Apply for a blue badge

For more information on the blue badge scheme including the requirements you must meet and to apply/renew a Blue Badge please go to the Staffordshire County Website

All our car parks offer free parking to Blue Badge Holders at any time and you can use any space available except the short stay bays. See a list of car parks in East Staffordshire

The parking concessions granted to a holder of a Blue Badge are set out in a Department of Transport leaflet titled "The Blue Badge Scheme".
